The Ancient Greek Female Poet Sappho wrote that:

’The stars around the beautiful moon,

hiding their glittering forms,

whenever she shines full on Earth,

Silver.’

The earrings, inspired by the silvery moon outshines the stars around them.

Formed from solid sterling silver they hold close to the ear like two large shimmering pearls.

The earrings are handmade in the heart of London.
